Today I am thankful that my loving family let me write this post.
My Name is Emeril, Emmy for short. Some times I am called the Slinkenstein but I am not for sure why.
That’s me slinked up on the couch, under the covers with my favorite pillow. One of the things I am thankful for; pillows and lazy mornings.
As thanksgiving is rapidly approaching I wanted to list all the things I am thankful for and maybe you are thankful for these things too.
I am Thankful for;
There is family and friends and warm homemade treats.
Dinner at Home, and a Home where I eat.
Time to play in the sun, though now it is dark by seven.
A God that believes all Dogs go to heaven.
Places to lay my head when I want to be lazy.
Play dates with my Sisters where we all can go crazy.
When it is cold, there is a warm sunny spot.
Software created by IBM is being used to deduce the personality of a Twitter user by identifying patterns in the use of words.
The analysis of behavior in social networks is a common practice in the online advertising industry. Segmentation based on this data has become another element to sharpen marketing and advertising companies on the internet. Almaden Research Center in California has developed a program able to infer the personality of a Twitter user based on their updates.
The new system is able to discover the behavior of the users and to determine their personality. IBM believes that their software might have some application in social media marketing, online marketing campaigns and even customer service.
The company’s researchers have created a program able to analyze a user’s tweets and classify it based on basic psychological characteristics. The profile then is made consisting of five traits rated according to information from Twitter updates – such as extroversion, kindness, responsibility, open-mindedness and instability.
When creating a brand or to enhance your sales through social media, an effective method has been promoting your brand on Twitter. Many brands use Twitter in different ways depending on the needs of the company:
Listen: there are brands that use Twitter to know more information about their customers or potential customers and know their opinion about their services.
Communication: many companies use Twitter to communicate their news or their products and make themselves known.
Customer Service: Each time this function gains more strength because, thanks to changing user attitudes, this type of care is now required. The brands that are using this channel to resolve any issues their customers may have are gaining customer loyalty and feelings towards these brands tend to be more positive
Sales: Some companies, especially large companies, use specific accounts to show offers and discounts on their products to encourage sales.
When promoting your brand in this social environment it is very important to consider some guidelines to see it grow.
